What the game collects
- When you create an account: your email address, a salted password hash, account identifier, and sign in session.
- When you play: your golfer name and appearance choices, course and hole scores, round progress, tokens, and club upgrades.
- For guest play: a random browser or app cookie identifies the career on that device. Clearing the cookie can make that guest career inaccessible.
- For security: sign in attempt counters associated with hashed email and network address values. The hosting service may also process request information, such as network address and technical logs, to deliver and protect the game.
How information is used
Information is used to provide gameplay, save progress, authenticate accounts, prevent misuse, and show course records. Course records can publicly display your chosen golfer name and completed round score. Your email address and password are not displayed on the course records.
Storage and sharing
Career and account information is stored in the game’s hosted database. The app uses secure session cookies for account sign in. The hosting provider processes information to operate the website and game. Pinecrest Golf does not include in game advertising or sell player information. The game does not provide paid tokens or in app purchases.
Your choices
You can play as a guest or create an account. You can edit your golfer name and appearance in the game and sign out in account settings. To request access to or correction of your account information, contact dylanclark51311@gmail.com. Account deletion can be initiated from the account settings in the game by confirming your password. Deleting an account removes its saved career and course records. Clearing cookies makes a guest career inaccessible on that device; to request deletion of guest data, contact us while the guest career is still available to you.
Retention
Account and career information is kept while the account is active or until the associated data is deleted. Session credentials expire or are invalidated on sign out. Limited technical records may be retained by the hosting service for security and operations. Some information may need to be retained if required by law.
Children
If you believe a child has provided personal information through an account without appropriate permission, contact dylanclark51311@gmail.com to request its removal.
Changes
This policy may be updated as the game changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to dylanclark51311@gmail.com.
